Plot: The mask of an African witch doctor on display in a Midlands museum provides the trigger to transport young Nick Twain back to 1890, where he takes the place of his explorer ancestor Lionel Twain on an expedition in darkest Africa. Time wishes to use Nick to replay the battle between the boy's ancestor and the evil witch doctor M'Ganga. When this first happened, both men plunged over a cliff edge in hand-to-hand combat but Time wants M'Ganga to win and thus use him to further its own ends and alter the course of history. Although they must get past a fierce leopard and gorillas, just in time Sapphire manages to freeze time and push M'Ganga to his death.
Comments: Steel chimes in with an interesting comment on colonialism and altering the time line - "Have you stopped to think? Everything that happened when Europeans took over this African continent wasn't good ...".
