German Character name: Dr Richard Smith
German Voice Artist: Christian Quadflieg
RUDI is the second
of the Earth scientists taken hostage by Octavia
as insurance for Adam and Shem. It’s Rudi’s job
to try to prove the equal brainpower of men to the
Medusans, particularly in the episodes What have
They Done To The Rain? and The Trial.
The weird thing is that in the English language
episodes Rudi is a German character, but in the
German versions he becomes Richard Smith - an English
scientist!
 CHRISTIAN
QUADFLIEG was born in Sweden on 11th April
1945, the son of the German actor Will Quadflieg.
Christian is still a popular actor on German TV
today - Star Maidens
appears to have been his only English language part.
